As a community project whose fundemental mission is improving the mental wellbeing of communities, we host larger markets to showcase the creativity of local traders, as well as using this plaftorm the share in and learn about the ways in which we can become kinder to our planet and neighbourhoods.

We are happy to be a part of a large number of markets popping up all over the country and we recognise that there is a shift in us wanting to support local trade for many reasons. Ours is because:

• our visitors enjoy the atmosphere that we work hard to balance and their experience helps to generate repeat visits.
• there is the opportunity get fresh, healthy produce usually at competitive prices. - they offer increased choice, and can offer extra fresh, affordable produce in areas with few such options.
• they strengthen connections in the trading community and support from each other away from the markets.
• we reduce packaging and provide information on recycling
• our traders grow in confidence
• we support local business in the area on the market day
• more money is spent in the local economy, and it circulates in the community for longer.
• our Earth Markets give an outlet for local produce, helping to start new local businesses and expand existing ones. - they reinforce local job and business networks, maintaining local employment.
• we are a family friendly event and a great social meeting place for community cohesion.
