The Earth Gardens project, a key component of With Nature in Mind, was established in 2020 to provide an alternative, natural space for individuals experiencing loss, anxiety, stress, and low mood. Rooted in the healing power of nature, our gardens offer a sanctuary where people can come together, reflect, and reconnect.
Since our inception, we’ve expanded across the city, creating multiple spaces where individuals, families, community groups, and even corporations can access the therapeutic benefits of being close to nature. Our Earth Gardens are designed to nurture mental health, promote wellbeing, and build stronger community connections.
Our Earth Gardens are welcoming spaces where we host a range of nature-based activities, including:
We’re proud to offer a holistic, inclusive approach where people from all walks of life can find solace, healing, and connection in our gardens.
Our Earth Gardens are located in diverse, accessible areas across the city, ensuring that more people can access nature’s healing embrace.
Each garden has its unique atmosphere and focus, whether it’s creativity, horticulture, storytelling, or healing.
We are always welcoming volunteers and those seeking work experience opportunities. Our regular volunteering sessions at the Witton Garden take place every Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. It’s a chance to get your hands in the soil, nurture the garden, and become part of a supportive, growing community.
If you’re interested in volunteering, hosting an event, or simply learning more about our gardens, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We can discuss how you or your organisation can get involved in supporting or visiting any of our sites.
Join us in nurturing these spaces, and experience the transformative power of nature. Together, we can grow stronger, healthier communities.
