We are proud to be chosen by WAITS (Women Acting in Today’s Society) to collaborate on creating Healing Gardens within their refuges across the city.
Within the safety and tranquillity of their outdoor spaces, these gardens are more than just plots of land — they are places of restoration, creativity, and belonging. By weaving therapeutic practices with the grounding act of gardening, we invite the women to reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world.
The Healing Gardens are designed to offer a space for emotional and mental well-being, where the nurturing of plants mirrors the nurturing of one’s spirit. Here, nature provides a common language — one rooted in growth, resilience, and hope. Through small acts of courage, participants embrace the opportunity to start fresh, sow new seeds, and share their stories.
These gardens offer much more than a place to plant — they are spaces for healing, a safe refuge where hope for the future is nurtured with every blossom, and where each participant’s journey of self-discovery and empowerment is supported.
